De nature sociable, les aras hyacinthe interagissent beaucoup. Cette espèce se reproduit peu en captivité et il n’y a pas encore eu de reproduction réussie au Biodôme de Montréal, où cette photographie a été prise.

These sociable birds interact a great deal. Hyacinth macaws do not often reproduce in captivity and there hasn’t yet been any successful breeding at the Montréal Biodôme where this picture was shot.
